Our name, Tanante, means "peace only" and is the response to a greeting in Mandinka....Cor tanante?  Tanante!

Since 2003, Tanante have performed to large and small audiences at diverse venue across the UK.  Our players train with master drummers in The Gambia, Senegal, Guniea and Burkina Faso. We never fail to make an impression and have become a popular choice for events, conferences and festivals across the UK.
