Our workshops will definately add something special to your family fun days, community festival or open day! Workshops can be accompanied by a short drumming demo or performance by Tananate.  Drumming in small groups can also support specific client groups to connect to others, relax, be energised, and improve their mood, communication skills and self-esteem.

"Thanks so much for the fun day - you were fab and the residents loved it!" Manchester Methodist Housing Association

"The response from the drumming workshop was very positive. Drumming is a great way to unite people from different cultures and backgrounds, it's a different way of socialising without speaking and very relaxing. Its a great skill to have and the workshop offers an opportunity for people to take drumming further by attending other Drumroots activities. This is the second time Drumroots have delivered a workshop for me,
the team are punctual and easy to work.I will definitely book Drumroots again." Louise Bell, Centre Manager, Energise and Willow Tree Healthy Living Centre

"Drumroots have worked with the Generate Project which aims at gang prevention through the creative arts for several years.  The team are enthusiastic and professional and have always engaged large groups of young people from South-Central Manchester.  We find their work particularly useful as an increasing amount of persons in the field of education and youth engagement are pointing to the necessity for young persons to learn more about cultural practices in other countries.  Added to the ability to promote multiculturalism through their workshops, the work of Drumroots also enhanced several fundamental key transferable skills such as teamwork, paying attention, musicality, rhythm and discipline." Vicky Sinclair, Project Manager, Generate Project
