This year's festival features another line-up bursting with top-notch teachers including Nansady Keita, Mockolo Sawane, Chartwell Dutiro, Iya Sako, Ben Lawrence and Sens Sagnya, all in the amazing Hardcastle Crags National Trust woodland estate. Opening circle, dance class and guest performances (including Tanante) kick off the weekend on Friday evening. We look forward to seeing you there! Tree-Athlon
5 October, Heaton Park, Manchester
Trees for Cities has been running greening projects in Greater Manchester since 2005 in partnership with the Red Rose Forest, one of 12 Community Forests in England that are regenerating the environment. To aid the project, Trees for Cities are hosting a "Tree-athlon" 5 km race at Heaton Park! Open to everyone over 14 years old and to all abilities.
