Kontaani Drum Weekend; Drumroots Workshops and Tanante Performance

Our good friends of the Kontaani group have organised a whole weekend of drumming workshops and performances. The workshops (some of which will be run by us!) will be pitched at different levels to suit all. On Saturday night there will be a full program of entertainment with performances including Kontaani’s own performance group and Tanante with special guest artist Iya Sako. For non-drummers there will be a whole host of other activities to look forward to. The very first Kontaani Drum Camp –

A weekend of drumming fun and mayhem!
• Drumming workshops throughout the weekend for all abilities.
• Hi wire walking, archery, craft market, tarot reading, massage and much more.
• Drumming round a camp fire on Friday evening. Party and performances by some of the best drumming musicians in the UK on Saturday evening.
• Kontaani members have first option on places and then spaces will be offered to friends of Kontaani.
• All drumming abilities catered for from beginner to advanced with professional tutors. Non drumming partners are welcome, the cost is adjusted accordingly.
• Accommodation in bunkhouses or camping space is available.
• Food is provided by the centre but you are also welcome to bring your own.
