Following the success of Kontaani Drum Camp in May of this year, I have decided to host Kontaani Drumfest 2013!

This will be held as this year, at the wonderful Stanley Head Outdoor Education Centre in Stoke and will involve drumming workshops, a bit more drumming, some high wire experience, a few other outdoor activities, a craft market and a lot more drumming!

Drumming around the campfire and great music on Friday night with DJ Kontaani Chris is a must!
Saturday evening performances and Kontaani party will be held in the meadow (weather permitting).

Those who came this year will know what it's all about - we had a fabulous weekend of wonderful drum tuition, we chilled out, partied until the early hours, danced our sox off, scared ourselves to death on the highwire and archery, we forged new friendships and cemented old ones and had a down right bloody good weekend!
Hope you can come again next year - you are guaranteed a place if you attended this year.

The wonderful team from Drumroots - Jamie and Beej are our main tutors and their performance troupe Tanante will be entertaining us again on Saturday evening along with the Kontaani troupe amongst others.

Our friend Sens Sagna will be hosting a dance class!

If anyone would like to book a place on this very intimate and special drumming weekend please contact me as soon as possible. Judging by this year I expect the beds in the bunkhouses to sell out quickly although there will be lots of camping space available.

I am limiting the numbers in order to keep the whole vibe intimate and in order to keep the classes manageable, so first come first served. All levels will be catered for - there will be something for everyone not to mention a lovely weekend amongst like minded drumming folk! Non drumming partners welcome.

Full costs and line up will be anounced soon but please register with no obligation, if you would like to get your name down early.

So excited about this! Bring it on and lets all do a sun dance- it certainly worked this year!!!!!!

If anyone would like a stall space please let me know asap - we have a limited number of tables available in the annex of the dinning room. This can be anything at all from fair trade stalls to djembe's and other instuments to second hand stuff - craft stalls welcome too.

Marie x
