Yesterday, the Drumroots team had the pleasure of running an exciting teambuilding drumming workshop for Newmarket Holidays’ vibrant team of 23 travel agents at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster.

The day began with a roar—literally—as the travel agents participated in the unforgettable experience of feeding the lions! This thrilling activity tied perfectly into their work of promoting safari trips and gave the group a rush of excitement before diving into the drumming.

The team, made up of mostly bubbly and energetic women, brought their positivity and enthusiasm into our workshop. Their natural sense of fun and teamwork quickly turned the session into a lively and collaborative event. From rhythmic warm-ups to learning traditional West African beats, the agents showcased their creativity, encouraged one another, and worked in harmony to craft a vibrant group performance.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yorkshire Wildlife Park and its staff for their fantastic hospitality and support throughout the day. The park provided the perfect setting for this unique teambuilding experience, with its inspiring environment and seamless coordination helping make everything run smoothly.

A huge thank you to Wayne from Newmarket Holidays for your lovely energy and enthusiasm and for inviting us to be a part of such a memorable event. Here’s to more adventures, rhythm, and connection in the future!
