Drumroots invites you to our Drum Circle Jam Christmas Special on Tuesday, 17th December at the Union Chapel in Fallowfield, Manchester. Let’s end the year on a high note with the beats of African drums, percussion games, and some festive treats!
What’s in Store:
- Festive Drumming Fun: Bring your energy and join us for an epic evening of drumming as we celebrate the season together. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or a total beginner, there’s something for everyone.
- Special Guest Teachers: We’re thrilled to welcome two incredible talents:
- Guinean Master Drummer Iya Sako, whose electrifying rhythms will leave you inspired.
- Gambian Dance Artist Jokeh Sillah, who will add an extra layer of energy with her captivating dance and dynamic rhythms.
- Mega Drum Circle Jam: The highlight of the evening—an extra special collaborative jam session where everyone’s rhythm comes together in harmony.
- Percussion Galore: Feel free to bring along your own percussion instruments or use one of ours. Let’s make some grooves together!
- Drumming Games: Test your skills and have a laugh with our interactive percussion games.
- Festive Treats: Mulled wine, mince pies and other festive treats will be available to keep you refreshed and in the holiday mood.
- Christmas Outfits: Festive outfits are welcome (but not mandatory), and there’s a prize for the best-dressed participant!
