Drumroots deliver Team building drumming session for Macmillan Cancer support.
If you're organising a corporate team building event and you're trying to think of ways to keep your delegates on their toes, then we would definitely recommend taking a leaf out of Macmillan Cancer Support's book! We had great fun being accomplices in their secret plan to surprise their staff yesterday, at the conference centre of the Radisson Blu hotel in Manchester. It's less than two weeks until The New Generations tour and the excitement amongst our performance troupe is really starting to build up for this awesome weekend of music and dance! We've been working hard perfecting material that we learnt during our recent trip to West Africa and happy to see faces old and new in the group coming together to create an amazing performance. Tuesday night Beginners/ warm up sessions are back starting 7th April 2015
After a very positive response the Drumroots African djembe drumming 'beginners/warm up session' is back! Every Tuesday night 6.30 pm – 7.30pm in addition to our regular 7.30pm – 9.30pm drumming class at the Union Chapel Fallowfield. These sessions will be slower paced than the regular class, and more focused on technique which will be ideal for beginners to learn the basics, good for experienced players wishing to further their skills in a more relaxed environment and great for advanced players to have a warm up before the normal class starts.
